Its been quite a while .........

Hi !! :)

Hope you are all having a great weekend. Today is Karvachauth ...... so my best wishes to everyone for the same.:)

It seems ages since I last visited my blog. Actually lot of things were going on in the home front because of which I was not able to continue with my blog writing.

Summer holidays are usually very hectic for me. With kids at home I spend most of my time in the kitchen cooking meals for them. This time I had also done a small workshop on Madhubani painting for my drawing students. Even though only few kids participated but still I enjoyed doing it immensely:) Sharing few pics of the same

I also did a small workshop for Clay Ganesha moulding. Used shilpkar, acrylic colours and mirrors, beads for decoration.

Lastly my madhubani painting of Ganesha

& my bottle painting

There are few more projects which I would like to share with you....maybe in my next post.

Till then enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead :)

Misc. Activities

Hi !!!!

Happy Monday to u all !!!. Its  been more than a month since I last blogged. My broadband has been giving me lot of problems with their erratic connectivity issues. But finally they have been able to sort out the problem & since yesterday its been working fine.

During this period I tried my hands in dot painting & recycled another bottle . This is how it looks ... Have used 0" & 2" size brush & acrylic paints.

Have to apply a coat of varnish on the same. Somebody told me that glass surface needs separate kind of varnish but the one I have is for clay work or wooden surface. If anybody knows about glass varnish do let me know & from where I can get it ...??

I have also started to learn macrame. After watching few videos on the same I was able to make this small mobile pouch using simple square knots.

For this I have used malai dori which I had got from Pradhan Stores long time back . Still need to affix front button.😊   Need to try out few more projects to get acquainted with this art form.

I would also like to share my young student's work. They are in 4th & 5th grade and they have done these beautiful Madhubani paintings. Makes me feel so proud 😊😊

Do share your views on the above.

Till next time have a creative crafty week. πŸ‘

My Fusion Art

Hi !!!

Thanks for visiting and appreciating my previous blog post.

I simply love madhubani painting & even though I have been planning to learn new art forms ... I end up doing a madhubani motif / sketch :))

This time I have tried to create fusion between madhubani & doodling.

This painting is on A3 size cartridge sheet. This is a freehand sketching & I have used marker, acrylics & water colour pencils.

My husband loved it very much & has given me an idea of making two more but with different central motif so that we have a set of three... But right now I just want to switch over to my crochet projects. This time I might surprise myself & complete my table cover .....

Till next time happy crafting !!!

Bottle Makeover

Hi !!!

Thanks a lot for your feedback on my last post.

I am back with another bottle art  project. For this I have used 0"size brush & acrylic colours. This is the front side....

Back side....

Let me know how it looks....

There are lot of things going on in my mind. Have to complete few crochet projects which have been lying unattended for long.I also want to learn new art forms like dot painting, gond style painting....... List is endless..... but don't know when will I get the time to make a head start in this direction :)) I think I need to take the "Time Management" thing more seriously... maybe then I would be able to manage my never ending projects more efficiently..

Till next time happy crafting :)
